Kia is poised to reveal the third generation Sportage at the 80th Geneva motor show next month.
Claimed to demonstrate a dramatic shift in design direction for the Korean brand, the vehicle embodies Kia's new visual dynamism through a fresh, athletic and sporty aesthetic, which also clearly exhibits a family resemblance. According to the company, the new Sportage's blends the key features of an SUV - the commanding driving position, heightened sense of security and raised ground clearance - in a sleek and urban-friendly design.
Though Kia has yet to reveal images of the new Sportage's interior, the longer and wider exterior dimensions over its predecessor mean that there will be more space inside for people and cargo. The new car is also lower to the previous model - for a hunkered down look and improved aerodynamics - and has a longer wheelbase for improved ride quality.
We'll bring you more details and photos of the all-new Sportage live from the Geneva motor show next month.
